Terms of Service
By using Tono, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tono. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
2. AI-generated content
Tono's replies are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on them as professional advice, including medical, legal or financial advice, and check anything important yourself. You are responsible for how you use the replies.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you send to Tono. You give us only the permission needed to process it in order to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. As between you and us, you may use the replies you receive for any lawful purpose, but similar replies may be generated for other users.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Tono to:
- create or share content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, harasses others, or promotes violence;
- infringe other people's rights, including intellectual property and privacy;
- impersonate others or deceive people about AI-generated content;
- abuse the service, for example by automated access, bypassing usage limits, or interfering with our systems.
We may limit, suspend or terminate access for violations. To report content, see Report Content.
5. Accounts
You can use Tono without an account. If you sign in, keep access to your email address secure, because anyone with access to it can sign in to your account.
6. Free usage and Tono Pro
Tono includes a free daily usage allowance, which we may change. Tono Pro is a paid subscription that offers additional models, features and a higher allowance, as described in the app at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for Tono Pro. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You can request a full refund within 14 days of a purchase by emailing [email protected]; refunds are issued through Paddle.
7. Service availability
Tono is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, pause or discontinue features, models or the service. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tono and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
You can stop using Tono at any time and delete your account as described on Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page and, where reasonable, notified by email to signed-in users.
